Jeanne Van Nuys-Hitt, VMD

Jeanne has been training with Silke for over 15 years.
During this time she earned her USDF Bronze and Silver
Medals. She is a very successful competitor and has
competed through Intermediate 1 with her former mount,
Finaal as well as with her current partner, Sirtaki.
Sirtaki is a 1999 Oldenburg by Sion that Silke found in
Germany for Jeanne. This pair placed 5th in
Fourth Level test 2 at Dressage at Devon in 2007, won the
ESDCTA Adult Amateur Championship at Prix St.Georges in 2008
as well as the GAIG/USDF Region 1 Adult Amateur Prix
St.Georges Championship. In 2009 they not only showed PSG
and I-1 in Florida and New Jersey with many placings and
wins with scores up to 69.5%, but they qualified for
Regionals as well as Devon. Jeanne and Sirtaki and currently
schooling at Grand Prix. In Jeanne’s spare time she is an
admired and successful veterinarian and shares her home with
her very supportive husband as well as some retired horses,
cats and dogs that she has collected over the years.
Mindy Elgart
Mindy is also a long-time student of Silke having met in the
late 80’s when she was still riding hunt seat on a crazy
Thoroughbred. Mindy currently owns and competes her horse
Gladiator, affectionately known in the barn as “Maxipants”.
Under Silke’s tutelage this pair won the 2009 I-1 AA USDF
Region 8 Championship, placed 2nd and 3rd
in Fourth Level test 2 at Dressage at Devon in 2007, placed
6th in the 2007 BLM championships at Prix
St.Georges and placed 6th in both the Prix
St.Georges and Intermediate 1 AA GAIG/USDF Region 1
Championships in 2008. “Max” and Mindy also won the Sho
Clothes AA Challenge at The Wellington Classic in 2008. The
pair are successfully competing at Prix St.Georges and I1
and schooling Grand Prix. Mindy is an “L” graduate who
actively judges schooling shows for the past 7 years. In
her other life she is an Associate Vice President for
Limited Brands based in New York City.
Barbara Wolfe
Barbara is another successful Amateur competitor who came to
Silke when she was schooling / competing at 3rd
level. During her time with Silke she trained up to Grand
Prix with her horse Lucien earning her USDF Silver and Gold
Medals as well as many placings and wins. Barbara is
currently successfully competing Lucien at Grand Prix as
well as Windsor at Fourth level, a lovely young horse that
Silke found for her.
Rebecca Knollman

Is the owner and head trainer of Knollman Dressage located
in Cincinnati, OH. Becky is able to work with Silke monthly
and will be joining Silke in Wellington for the 2010
season. San Francisco RA, a 2003 Hanoverian Stallion by
Sandro Hit X Rohdiamant. is one of the horses Becky co-owns
and competes. They were the 2009 Region 2 Champion at First
Level and Reserve Champion at Second Level. Becky also
ownes Solaris Hit, Sandro Hit X Rubinstein Hanoverian Mare.
Solaris has successfully competed in the FEI Young Horse
Program and will compete in the 2010 Developing Horse
Program.
Chris Federer

From Cincinnati, OH works with Silke monthly and will be
joining Silke in Wellington for the 2010 season. Chris'
mount, Sam Gerida has been successful through out the levels
taking the Reserve Champion 3rd Level title at the 2009
Region 2 Championships. They look forward to competing at
4th and PSG in 2010.

Competing on Bulgari V, Rigadon, Caballero V, Junker.
Multiple Championships in FEI Jr. Rider on several
horses
Robert Soros
Competing on Oscar and Donnerstern.
Adult Amateur rider competing through I-1 with numerous
High Score AA awards
Kathy Rosenbloom
An Adult Amateur competing on Oscar.
Cathy has winnings and placings at numerous shows through
I-1, placings at USDF Regional Championships, Dressage at
Devon and in the Florida circuit. She was
Region 1 4th level AA
Championship and was placed 5th nationally as a USDF AA
rider at I-1 in 2008
Romy Tota
Competing Wincenzo, a horse
Silke found for Romy in Germany, was the first horse from
the US to be invited to compete in the Young Horse World
Championships in Germany.
Lisa Dufresne
An Adult Amateur competing on Black
George and Caballero V. Lisa has achieved many AA wins and placings at Dressage at Devon and in the Florida circuit and
has placed and won at USDF Regional Championships.
Jen Roth
Is a successful trainer based in Ohio who
trains regularly with Silke during monthly clinics. She has
had multiple wins through PSG and I-1.
Patty Wagner
Competing on Leejon, an Adult Amateur
rider who has successfully competed through PSG and has been
the winner of several USDF Regional Championships.
Alice Tarjan
Competing on Feinest and Somer Hit is an
Adult Amateur who has shown successfully through I-2. She
has earned numerous high score awards in breed shows as well
as performance shows with her promising young, approved
stallion Somer.
Jen Benoit
Competing on Freulich is competing and
winning at PSG and I-1 and currently schooling Grand Prix.
